Sales Merchandiser

shifts vary 6-2:30, 7-3:30 Monday thru Friday *start end times vary by specific site and business needs. 0.59 cents per mile.
Areas Covered: Medford, Grants Pass, Ashland
Must be clear before starting Minimum Age Requirement (by state): 21+ years of age
Dress Code: Khaki’s & a polo shirt. Comfortable, closed-toed, non-slip shoes. Contractor may have customer and or consumer interaction.
Merchandiser to travel between locations using their personal vehicle, RNDC will provide mileage reimbursement

Position Summary:
From sales to delivery, the Merchandiser is the final stop in getting beverages into our customer’s hands.
After the driver delivers the product to the store, the Merchandiser stocks rotates, and merchandises our product so it is ready to sell.
Merchandisers are expected to maintain store standards by creating and arranging floor displays, resetting coolers, and rearranging shelves.
This position works closely with the Sales Team to provide exceptional customer service to assigned accounts.
The Merchandising role is an entry-level position in the Wine & Spirits industry which is the cornerstone to multiple career paths in an evolving category of business.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Navigate personal motor vehicle to various locations within assigned geographic region aiding sales reps in stocking, handling beverage cases, and re-working products RNDC represents Fill cold boxes and shelves with appropriate merchandise and rotate products on an ongoing basis.
Build and maintain in-store displays and POS (point of sale) marketing materials using schematics or written instructions Place price and descriptive signs on backdrop, fixtures, merchandise, on floor based on planograms Provide excellent customer service to stakeholders from assigned accounts Depending on the geography, Merchandiser may service between 5-8 accounts each day.
Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks to move cases from storeroom to sales floor Organize and maintain back-stock area promoting a safe and efficient work environment and order accuracy for sales Develop and maintain positive, cooperative, and team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and managers as well as store personnel and salespeople you encounter through the day.
Consult with store managers, buyers and or sales representative to determine appropriate placement of displays or product Submit daily activity report and merchandising reports; report competitive activity and pricing as it occurs to immediate supervisor Clock in and out, adhering to state labor laws

Requirements: 21+ years of age

Preferably 1+ merchandising experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Valid driver's license, auto insurance, reliable vehicle, and clean DMV record Reliable personal vehicle to drive from location to location – Mileage reimbursement provided for business-related driving expenses High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Ability to lift up-to 50 pounds repeatedly Walk, stand, climb ladders, balance, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl daily

Previous grocery or retail experience Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and meet deadlines Effective organizational and time management skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external customers  Must Have Merchandising Planograms Product Displays Product Promotions Retail Merchandising Retail Sales Schematics Valid Driver's License
