i-nnovate USA is a completely online event and is open to only Intellians and Intelliswift consultants residing in the USA. We have some really cool and exciting prizes lined up, so make sure you give it your innovative best!

  • Registration & Idea Submission closes on October 25
  • Prototype Submission closes on November 30
  • Grand finale on December 6 at 9:30 pm - 10:30 pm IST

Format

Round 1: Registration & Idea Submission

  • Register yourself via this portal and add your team members, if any.
  • You must submit your idea in a PPT or PDF file in the Intelliswift template.
  • You can also share a 1-minute video presentation (*.MOV, MP4, WMV, AVI & MKV formats) of your idea [OPTIONAL].
  • You are eligible for this hackathon only if you submit your idea by October 25.
  • Please note: Only the primary registrant is allowed to do the submissions for all stages.

Round 2: Prototype Submission

  • We will announce the top 5 teams for Round 2 by mid-November.
  • The teams who make it to round 2 also qualify for the grand finale.
  • If selected, you must upload your prototypes/POC in any format - PPT/PDF/RAR/ZIP by November 30.
  • You can also share a GitHub URL or any web URL of your POC/prototype in action [OPTIONAL].
  • Remember you will present these POCs to the jury during the grand finale.

Round 3: Grand Finale

  • The teams who make it to round 2 also qualify for the grand finale.
  • The i-nnovate USA finale will be held ONLINE on December 6 at 9:30 pm - 10:30 pm IST.
  • Each team gets 10 minutes to present.
  • Winners will be announced on the next day, December 7, via emails, press releases, social media, and on the i-nnovate and Intelliswift websites.

  • Your idea should align with any technologies/domains specified in the “Themes” section.
  • You can only submit your entry once, so please be sure to submit the final version.
  • You are expected to develop unique and innovative solutions that add value to your chosen industry vertical.
  • Your idea must be developed entirely during the hackathon. You may utilize open-source libraries and other freely available systems/services such as Google Maps, Facebook Connect, Twitter feeds, etc.

Committed to creating future leaders

i-nnovate Hackathon Challenge 2022 spanned over 3 months, from initial submission to finalists' presentation. We saw some extraordinary talent in a high-stakes competition. The hackathon was open to two parallel categories – college students and Intelliswift employees. The winning ideas varied in nature and reach – from showcasing a "Smart" safety helmet mockup to a QR-code-based audio video tour guide for several isolated and lesser-known tourist spots.

Rules

Your Guide to Compliance

Participation in the i-nnovate Hackathon Challenge ensures fairness, creativity, and a smooth experience for all participants. We have established a set of rules that govern the hackathon. These rules are designed to create an environment where innovation thrives and everyone has an equal opportunity to shine.

  • The Hackathon runs from September 27 to December 5, 2023.
  • The contest is divided into 3 rounds – Registration & Idea Submission, Prototype Submission, and Grand Finale.

Round 1: Registration & Idea Submission

  • This is an online round.
  • You need to register yourself and add your team members.
  • For this round, you must submit a presentation in the Intelliswift template (PPT or PDF format).
  • You can also share a 1-minute video presentation (*.MOV, MP4, WMV, AVI & MKV formats) of your idea, though this is optional.
  • You can only submit your entry once, so please be sure to submit the final version.
  • Registration and idea submission start on September 27 and end on October 25, 2023.

Round 2: Prototype Submission

  • Following idea submission, the top 10 selected teams (5 from each category - college students and Intelliswift employees) will be announced by mid-November, 2023.
  • Selected teams need to upload their prototypes/POC no later than November 30, 2023 (acceptable formats include: PPT/PDF/RAR/ZIP).
  • You can also share a GitHub URL or any web URL of your POC/prototype in action, though this is optional.
  • These submissions will be presented to the jury during the grand finale.

Round 3: Grand Finale

  • All the teams who make it to round 2 will be qualified for the grand finale.
  • The i-nnovate Hackathon Challenge 2023 winners will be announced at the grand finale event.
  • The grand finale will be held in Pune on December 5, 2023.

Please follow the below steps to complete your registration:

  • Begin by clicking 'Register Now.'
  • Choose your preferred login method:
    • Google: Provide your Google credentials or select your preferred Google account to log in.
    • LinkedIn: Enter your LinkedIn email and password. Grant necessary permissions by clicking 'Allow.'
    • Office 365: Provide your Office 365 credentials to log in.
    • Sign up: Click the ‘Sign up’ option on the bottom-right side of the screen. Provide all the mandatory details and click ‘Sign up.’
  • Choose the relevant category that suits your participation.
  • You will now be directed to the hackathon registration page.
  • Complete all mandatory fields on the registration page and click 'Submit.'
    • You will receive an email at your registered email address upon successful registration.
    • You have the option to add team members during the registration process or return later to add them.
    • After successfully registering, you will be promptly directed to the Idea Submission page.
  • Adding team members
    • To add team members later, you can click on the direct button “+Add a member” after logging in.
    • Or you can go to View Profile, select Edit and Add a member.
    • Or you can go to ‘Edit Profile’ and Add a member.

No, participation in the i-nnovate Hackathon Challenge is FREE.

The hackathon will be organized in 2 parallel tracks – in India and in the USA.
  • For India, college students, Intelliswift employees and Intelliswift consultants will be eligible for the India prizes and will attend the finale in Pune.
  • The US employees and consultants will be a parallel track with a separate online event and prizes.

The India event is offline - all shortlisted teams for the grand finale must visit Pune for the event, according to the invitations sent.
The US event will be offline, and details will be shared with the participants via email.

Yes, you need to bring your own laptop during the final event. However, we will provide you with the necessary internet connection.

Yes, Intelliswift will take care of the finalists' travel and accommodation.

You need to develop the application on your personal laptop and submit it to Intelliswift in RAR/GitHub URL/web URL/ZIP file format, along with instructions to run the application and the source code.

The entire idea does not need to be fully implemented. However, the submission should be functional enough to be reviewed by the judges.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide the environment, IDE, or DB. You will be expected to run the prototype on your personal laptop.

No, it is not necessary to be logged in or be online for the entire duration. You can develop the application on your local system and submit it on the portal.

There are no restrictions on using any language or library. You can use any of them to create a web/mobile application.

Yes, it's absolutely fine to submit just the prototype. However, we can provide SharePoint if needed.

No, for a seamless submission process, only the primary registrant will be able to submit your ideas and prototypes.

All submissions and creations intended for the i-nnovate Hackathon Challenge will be the intellectual property of Intelliswift solely. All code must be in the public domain (open source) to allow the judges to evaluate it.
