Bloodborne Pathogens Training & Hepatitis B Requirement

Job Responsibilities:
• Supports the writing of major and complex portions of manuals based on established skill in this form of communication and on a thorough understanding of the technical material that must be communicated. Coordinates the layout, illustrations, and reproductions as appropriate.
• Executes designed content updates across existing manuals.
• Uses Adobe FrameMaker, RoboHelp, and Microsoft Office to prepare material for publication.
• Works collaboratively with the rest of the software team to document the software produced in each sprint.
• Organizes material and completes writing assignment according to set departmental standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
• Reviews published materials and recommends revisions or changes in scope, format, content, and methods of layout, reproduction and binding.
• Maintains records and files of new documentation and revisions.
• Selects and takes photographs of hardware and computer screen shots of software to illustrate material. Assists in laying out material for publication.
• Works with subject matter experts to review documentation. Manages review cycle to keep projects on schedule.
• Creates change orders for final documentation and for software releases as needed; controls revisions for documentation.
• Works independently managing multiple document flow and project scheduling, with guidance from Manager.

Qualifications:
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with minimum of 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe FrameMaker.
• Knowledge of graphic manipulation and creation in a variety of forms.
• Strong people skills
• Ability to take direction while working as a strong independent contributor within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with RoboHelp.
