Job Description:

Summary:
The main function of a technical project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming.

• Define and drive success metrics and key performance indicators along with cross-functional partners.
• Articulate the roadmap, goals, milestones, and requirements for different projects.
• Balance business needs with technical constraints by building deep subject matter expertise in web technology, learning management systems, sales enablement, and business education.
• Manage an agile sprint system for quick, release-based web development.
• Familiarity with Software Engineering platforms
• Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions.
• Prevent surprises in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Reporting of progress, risks and blockers to senior management

Top 3 must-have HARD skills:
1 Solid project management skills (requirements gathering, development, timeline development, status reporting, triage assessment)
2 Agile & Waterfall project management experience
3 Strong communication skills (ability to quickly assess and report on progress, issues, and outcomes)
Good to have skills:
1 Familiarity with coding practices (backend, i.e., java, and front end, i.e. html/css/etc.)
2 Digital Creative Agency/Marketing experience
3 Working well independently or collaboratively as required

Education/Experience:
5 years as Technical Project Manager
Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams, strong communication and reporting as needed, oversight of project trackers and ensuring accuracy over sprints.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or business management or comparable field is preferred
