Software Dev Engineer II

Pay rate range - $60/hr. to $63/hr. on W2
Hybrid – 3 Days in Office

Must Have
Java coding experience and familiarity with frameworks utilizing IOC (Spring/Guice)
Experience with microservices development and deployments 
Familiarity with AWS technologies like S3, Dynamo DB, Step functions, SQS, Kinesis, RDS, etc

Degrees / Certs and/or Experience Required:
  • A Computer Science or equivalent technical degree and 2-5 years of relevant experience are required.
  • Preferred coding skills: C/C++ and/or Java.
  • Other desired technical skills include: SQL, HTML, UNIX/LINUX
  • They must be detail-oriented, have superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, be able to work independently, and maintain professionalism under pressure.

Task Breakdown:
  • Participation in the design, development, implementation, testing, and documentation of large-scale distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.
  • Working alongside development on Corporate and Divisional Software projects.
  • Updating/enhancing our current software.
  • Automation of the support processes of our systems.

Key Projects:
  • Migration of billing and manifestation of Retail Liquidation inventory to a new framework
  • Integration with Tax engine to produce tax artifacts
  • External Repair Inventory exchange automation, tracking
Primary responsibilities include participation in the design, development, implementation, testing, and documentation of large-scale distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.
 
Responsibilities also include working alongside development on Corporate and Divisional Software projects, updating/enhancing our current software, and automation of support processes of our systems.
 
Job Qualifications:
  • The ideal candidate is interested in a career in software development and is looking to utilize and expand their coding skills and gain exposure to a wide variety of software applications.
  • They must be detail-oriented, have superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, are able to work independently, and can maintain professionalism under pressure.
