Service Now Systems Engineer II

What you will do:
As a key member of the Security Compliance engineering team, you will:
• Solve complex and broad business problems with simple and straightforward solutions, applying appropriate technologies and software engineering best practices
• Take business requirements and design quality solutions. Write technical designs that clearly articulate solutions to stakeholders with varying degrees of technical knowledge
• Implement your design by building logic, procedures, new code and refactored code then test and debug as needed to deliver quality.
• Proactively identify and implement operational and technical improvements and enhancements that drive productivity and improve customer/partner experience
• Handle multiple projects at once, be able to effectively prioritize initiatives, and effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders.

What we are looking for:
We are looking for a high-caliber and tested ServiceNow Developer to be a part of a project with strategic significance and high exposure. In this role, you will help design, build, and maintain the team's ServiceNow platform.
You will manage the integrations with other key service systems. You will apply both business and technical acumen in a fast-paced, ambiguous and innovative environment to achieve our goal to ensure security and compliance across CDO org.

Key job responsibilities
• You focus on implementing, configuring, enhancing, maintaining, and integrating systems as well as building custom applications on the ServiceNow platform
• You must have a working knowledge of Servicenow's core functionality and architecture
• You also possess deep technical knowledge of Servicenow, including data model, integration technologies, common integration design patterns, system technical capabilities, available APIs, and other technical tools and building blocks including workflows, queues, event-based systems, and user interfaces
• You recognize and drive adoption of best practice techniques to communicate with business users, including functional analysis, data flow, and data analysis.
• You keep abreast of changes to the application domain you specialize in including changes to existing and introduction of new tools and functionality.
• You understand the business objectives relevant to your team and your stakeholders' teams and understand how the applications or tools enable – or hinder – the end users' ability to achieve business objectives.
• You continually align the work of your team and division with your stakeholders' business objectives and seek to deliver measurable business value.
• You understand functional requirements and work to improve the end user experience for the application supported.
• You understand industry integration practices as well as the integration capabilities and design patterns in your application, can analyze integration problems, and provide optimal solutions for them.
• Your career interests lead you to want to deepen your understanding of how the business runs. You use your technical skills to solve business problems, not just technical problems.
