Senior Software Engineer

Document Composition expert , with experience on the Client EngageOne suite that will work on moderately complex software development projects.

This position will require a combination of software development and interpersonal skills, and is expected to have knowledge around document technology, print, business expertise, and data quality.

You will be working heavily with the DOC1 Designer software application which requires a strong understanding of rule engines , Boolean operations , variables , validation rules , and how these contribute to output values.

This role supports various applications that receives data through batch, manages the metadata to generate customized documents, which will meet the needs of the enterprise.

Skills Experience:
EngageOne DOC1 Designer (Client) (70%)
  • Ability to understand the business requirements and converting them into solution designs
  • Develop complex projects utilizing the EngageOne Designer software application.
  • Code , test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate technology, which will also include Content Author , StreamWeaver , and Shell Scripts .
  • Support the team on production issues to ensure we meet the enterprise SLAs.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve process .
  • Participate in software upgrades , and new feature implementations .

Requirements and Analysis (20%)
  • Assist in resolving internal external inquiries related to input output requirements , intended usage, strategic planning, and alignment of these elements to internal checks, controls, and quality assurance.
  • Participate in team efforts to standardize process .
  • Provide general hands-on demonstrations of common process.
  • Assist with data file analysis .

Project and Data Management (10%)
  • Participate in special projects and project management duties as needed.
  • Collaborate with all team resources to ensure we meet project timelines.
  • Contribute to the upkeep and consistency of internal documentation related to issues, resolutions, usage topics, and training.

Required Skills:
Minimum of 2-3 years in Document Composition experience in the following applications:
  • EngageOne Compose - formally known as: Client DOC1
  • EngageOne Enrichment - Formally known as: Client StreamWeaver
  • EngageOne Content Author
  • Shell Scripting
  • Linux
  • SQL DB
