Job Description 
  • Looking for an Agile Leader and Coach to be part of the IT Leadership Team to lead Agile Release Train (ART).
  • The Release Train Engineer (RTE), leads ART, incorporates all and tools needed to definedeliver, and operate technology solutions
  • The RTE will be the teachertrainer, and coach of Agile principles and will facilitate ART eventsand processes.
 
Essential Functions 
As the RTE:
  • Support and coach Agile Release Train (ART) for delivering technology solutions in large, cross-functional environment 
  • Identifies the gaps and provides ongoing coaching on Lean-Agile practicescoach team members to reach their highest potential within the Agile framework
  • Organizes, facilitates and manages Program Planning, Art Sync, and Inspect & Adopt events 
  • Conducts ART syncs, preparing the ART for effective and well-prepared for PI Planning 
  • Manages ART's Portfolio Kanban ensuring consistency in the flow of Epics through the Kanban 
  • Conducts Inspect & Adopt even, identifying OFIs, conducting Root Cause Analysis and ensuring the improvements are implemented; ensures continuous grow and maturity of the ART. 
  • Conducts training and working sessions around Scrum and SAFe practices
  • Creates the culture of growth mindset ensuring that company is "being Agile vs. just doing Agile” 
  • Lead as a Scrum Master,
  • Schedules and facilitates all Scrum events for 1 or 2 teams
  • Leads and moderates user storyfeature, and capability estimation 
  • Removes roadblocks and helps PMs to deliver on Epic Objectives 
  • Ensures team's continuous improvement using feedback, metrics, reporting and analysis to identify areas of opportunity 
  • Prepare for PI Planning
  • Manages Epic risks 
  • Manages work in JiraConfluence and Mural or Miro; able to create Jira dashboards
  • As a servant-leader, focuses on team growth and well-being 
  • Understand business needs and working collaboratively with business stakeholders and team members to deliver value to our customers
 
Qualifications and Skills 
  • Advanced level understanding of Scaled Agile principles and practices
  • ScrumKanban and Lean
  • Understanding of technical issues
  • SDLC including the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutionssystems or products
  • Advanced proficiency with Jira
  • Handle multiple projects and deadlines concurrently
  • Must be a relationship builder, help team members to reach their highest potential within the Agile framework 
 
Education Training: 
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Agile principles and foundational concepts 
 
1+ certifications: 
  • SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), Agile Coaching (ICP-Client)
  • Enterprise Agile Coaching (ICP-ENT)
  • Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM)
  • Certified Scrum Professional–ScrumMaster (CSP-SM)
  • Certified Team Coach (CTC)
  • SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE)
  • or other Agile project program management methodologies
