The main responsibilities of a Python Engineer include writing and testing code, debugging programs and integrating applications with third-party web services.

Python developer - computer vision
Background
Frustum is a tool to model the geometry of headset sensors and display.
Frustum is entirely Python-based and exploits commonly available Python libraries such as OpenCV, Open3D, Matplotlib, Numpy, Scipy. Moreover, Frustum itself is growing into a library of common geometry components, such as projection to planes, spheres, automatic mesh generations, and most importantly it allows to compute system metrics and provide automated system reports.
Frustum is meant to be used by a very broad and diverse audience within RL, and it has been pipelined with other simulation tools

Responsibilities
The position responsibilities spans the following areas:
Maintain Frustum Codebase
Implement pipelines with other simulation libraries (available and to be developed)
Implement test suite to enable scalability
Implement a web-based interface to enable auto-reporting capabilities
Enable the the Frustum library to be imported and used in python notebooks
Parallelize usage for system optimization
Streamline utilization and provide documentation for most common Frustum tasks

Requirements
Extremely proficient Python programming
Deep knowledge of Python scientific packages: Numpy, Scipy, Matplotlib, Pandas
Deep experience with large and complex code bases
Deep experience with CI/CD tools
Knowledge of computer vision and geometry (3D geometry, meshes, point-clouds)
Knowledge of computer vision Python packages: OpenCV, Open3D
