Job Description: Data Privacy Product Manager

Pay rate range: $85/hr. to $90/hr. on w2. 

Top skill sets;
• 3-5 years in product management with 7+ years of experience in digital advertising
• Previous product management experience in data management, privacy data flow creation, and reporting and attribution
• 2+ years of privacy experience – specifically on CCPA, GDPR, TCF v.1, TCF v.2, US Privacy String
• Deep understanding of privacy principles/regulations, personal information (PI), Sensitive Information (SI)

Location: MTV, LA, NYC (remote ok)

Schedule: Hybrid (flexible depending on location)

The opportunity
We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background and experience in data privacy and AdTech to join our team to support our data privacy program and manage key advertising compliance work streams for US Privacy compliance.

Responsibilities:
• Work closely with P&E team and HQ Privacy Teams to create technical product requirements from privacy requirements dictated by GPO and NA Privacy
• Prepare for upcoming privacy regulation in US (CDPA, CPRA, CPA)
• Conduct Privacy Reviews on upcoming product launches in P&E Org with a focus on Data Management
• Bridge communication between legal/privacy teams and P&E teams
• Create robust privacy documentation/requirements around US product launches to help ease expansion of US product launches to EU market
• Develop expertise on the various ads data systems and provide guidance on user data management from a retention and user rights to data access perspective.
• Work with Architecture team to ensure PI data flows are kept up to date
• Manage messaging and training to ensure privacy compliance awareness internally both for Ads and other stakeholders.

Education:
Bachelors degree required, CS, engineering majors preferred

Necessary Skills / Attributes
• 3-5 years in product management with 7+ years of experience in digital advertising
• Previous product management experience in data management, privacy data flow creation, and reporting and attribution
• 2+ years of privacy experience – specifically on CCPA, GDPR, TCF v.1, TCF v.2, US Privacy String
• Deep understanding of privacy principles/regulations, personal information (PI), Sensitive Information (SI)
• Deep understanding of digital advertising ecosystem, including DMPs, DSPs, SSPs, Device Graphs, and Reporting and Insights
• Track record of delivering clear and transparent product specifications
• 2+ years experience working across multiple teams, translating privacy requirements between legal, privacy, product and engineering teams
• Strong communication skills, proactive
• Experience with Agile product development
• Passion for building disruptive products in fast-paced, cross-functional environment
