Role Mandate
  • The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for strategic planning and execution of marketing initiatives to drive customer growth for Client Bank. This role will primarily focus on mass marketing and acquisition to support exciting strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
  • Develop & implement strategic marketing plans to drive new customer acquisition with mass marketing tactics for the Client Bank.
  • Collaborates closely with Digital Acquisition team and other marketing/internal partners to drive awareness, consideration, and conversion with clear KPIs and performance targets.
  • Understand competitor activity to inform go-to-market strategy including offer strategy
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights/analytics and campaign performance to inform strategy and maximize ROI.
 
Campaign & Project Management
  • Oversee and support execution of integrated campaigns. Development of creative and media briefs, managing timelines, budgets and cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders & agency partners.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and result-oriented approach to campaign management, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and with strategic thought and intention.
  • Manages end to end structuring of marketing offers, performance tracking, strategy and ensures integration with customer lifecycle marketing initiatives.
  • Ensures all marketing programs are developed and executed in accordance with internal policies, procedures and standards, and external legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Broader work or accountabilities such as supporting CRM/lifecycle marketing may be assigned as needed.
  • Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders and ensures alignment.
 
Reporting & Insights
  • Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.
  • Track, monitor and evaluate campaign activities, assessing impacts and making recommendations.
 
Qualifications:
  • Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of undergraduate degree in marketing, business, commerce, or a related discipline
  • MBA in Marketing/Business/Financial Services preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or another CRM and marketing automation platform considered an asset.
  • In-depth experience in email marketing and building marketing automation journeys an asset
  • Ability to understand and distill technical requirements and translate into marketing strategies.
  • A self-directed investor an asset
