Description:
** Open to local and non-local but must be located in the US, PREFERABLY in either the Sacramento, Bay Area, Fairfield areas. **
** The role is primarily remote. There may be an occasion that they would need to meet in person, but this is not common.**

TOP THINGS:
1. Ability to design, configure, and administrate a multi-site, clustered ELK implementation.
2. Expert experience with data ingestion methods using agents (Beats, Logstash, ...) and agentless (syslog, REST/http, ...)
3. Ability to manage a fully clustered Splunk environment.
4. Strong knowledge of Linux operating system
5. Elastic Certified Engineer

Required Skills / Experience
• Proficient in utilizing and supporting IT Monitoring tools in a large enterprise environment.
• Proficient in installing, configuring, and supporting Splunk.
• Experience in Administration of Log Analytics Solutions: ELK, Grafana, InfluxDB, Kafka
• Experience Operations Support of Log Analytics Solutions: ELK, Grafana, InfluxDB, Kafka
• Familiarity with Remedy – creating, working incident, change and work order tickets.
• Certificate Management
• Familiarity with supporting monitoring tools for Linux, AIX, and Windows systems.
• BA/BS in Computer Science, IT Networking, Security, or other related technical degree

Desired Skills / Experience
• 3 years' experience directly installing, configuring, and supporting Log Analytics Solutions: ELK, Grafana, InfluxDB, Kafka, Splunk.
• Knowledge of Python, PERL, Groovy or other programming languages common to Log Analytics Solutions.
• Elastic Certified Engineer
