Location: Laurinburg, NC, 28364
Duration: 3 months with possible extension (Covering paternity leave)
 
Description:
  • Responsible for ongoing delivery and support of specific applications.
  • Works with business unit customers, regional it leaders, other service owners, corporate architecture and outside suppliers to ensure the delivered services meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Manages relationships with key suppliers and customers.
  • Reviews service delivery and support metrics; drives continuous improvement and standards across applications.
  • Ensures on-going service compliance with all company policies or legal requirements.
  • Encourages root cause analysis using the formal problem solving approach for recurring issues.
  • Manages the application portfolio; application availability, and ensures that tools and resources are capable.
  • Champions the use of Six Sigma to reduce costs and improve processes.
Skills:
  • Manufacturing IT: Networking, MDOS, Shop Floor Triage & IT
  • Only boots on ground so will need the ability to understand what is being asked.
  • Knowledge of computers, handhelds, tablets
  • Wireless networking familiarity
