Job Description:
This position will be for CloudHealth by Client under the CMBU. This is a fully remote position.
CloudHealth is a 100% linux shop with ALL operations in AWS.

Requirements:
- Advanced proficiency in AWS and its services (especially IAM)
- Linux proficiency (commands(sed, awk, grep, etc.)
- Scripting experience (bash, python or similar)
- Assistance in compliance evidence submission and automation
- Deep understanding in Terraform
- Familiarity with EKS/Kubernetes
- Strong skills with Docker
- Familiarity with DevOps practices
- Working knowledge of Git (CloudHealth uses GitHub)
- Thirst for finding and fixing security defects
- Initiative to frequently take your own path and do whats right
- Excellent documentation skills
- Knowledge of how to use API
- Understanding of Source Code security practices and SDLC
- The ability and familiarity of patching security issues as code in Docker, packer etc

This role will be supporting the lvl 3 security engineers as well as general SecOps support for the CloudHealth engineers. This includes answering and resolving support tickets related to security and access issues.

As the team works towards automation and security hardening this role will help execute not-yet automated tasks and assist in the testing and potentially engineering of efforts to automate. Our goal is to make things as secure, identifiable and self-service without slowing down innovation of others.

This role will have individual responsibilities and will also have shared responsibilities for larger projects.

The time zone of this position is somewhat flexible at +/- 2hrs EST. If PST the day will start ~8. In reality we will be flexible as long as work gets done. Initial training and the start of the role WILL require a few weeks dedicated to more EST hours.
