This position is responsible for providing high level analytical support for Human Resources/ Total Rewards and assist in managing the Bank's total rewards programs. This position will also be responsible for conducting independent analysis, recommending, designing, implementing and communicating new, and changes to existing total rewards programs which includes; compensation, strategic benefits and work-life balance.
  • Identify, analyze and recommend new compensation, benefits and work-life balance programs, policies and strategies that support the short and long-term goals, objectives and operational priorities.
  • Design, implement and communicate new and changes to existing total rewards programs, policies, procedures and strategies.
  • Analyze the market competitiveness of the Bank's existing compensation, benefits and work-life balance programs and policies relative to industry best practice and the market (monetary & non-monetary).
  • Recommend enhancements to existing programs, policies and strategies. Assist in the management of the Bank's market-based pay program.
  • Annually set market ranges.
  • Assist in the development and modification of position descriptions, conduct ad-hoc market analysis and evaluation of positions within the general guidelines of the Bank's market-based pay program.
  • Consult with Management on compensation, benefits and work-life balance strategies, programs, policies, procedures and issues.
  • Assist in the administration of the salary planning (merit), base pay and variable pay programs, as needed. Interpret and draft policy recommendations to ensure the Bank's compliance with various local, state and federal regulatory authorities.
  • Prepare analysis and reporting to ensure the compliance with a variety of internal requirements.
  • Provide backup to colleagues in the Total Rewards area in all areas relating to compensation and strategic benefits, as needed.
  • Assist in compensation, benefits and work-life survey participation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
 
Responsibilities:
  • This position is not required to directly supervise others but may lead and/ or assist in the training and development of more junior staff positions.
  • Knowledge and experience normally acquired through, or equivalent to, the completion of a Bachelor's Degree in human resources or related field and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the analysis, design, implementation, communication and administration of total rewards programs including compensation, strategic benefits and work-life balance.
 
Skills:
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Experience working with all levels of management and strong Microsoft Access, Excel and Word skills are critical.
  • Knowledge of Workday preferred.
