DevOps Engineer I

Duties:
•Design and develop parallel computing algorithms
•Design and develop tools to optimize parallel computing algorithms
•Manage life-cycle of HPC products from inception to deployment
•Research new parallelization paradigms on new computer architectures

Skills:
Please note: Only experienced HPC candidates will be considered, on the job training of Linux Admins will not be offered due to the complexity of the environment setup.
Required:
•Min 3+ experience in the following in HPC and AWS:
•Deep Knowledge of High Performance Computing platforms
•Deep Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS
•Good understanding of HPC Job schedulers such as UGE, LSF or Slurm
•Good understanding of Linux Operating Systems such as RHEL, Ubuntu
•Good command over scripting languages such as Bash, Perl, Python or R

Desired (at least 3) :
•Configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet
•Storage technologies, especially Isilon OneFS, NFS, GPFS and SMB
•Experience with profiling and debugging tools
•Experience with monitoring platforms such as Nagios or Icinga
•Good understanding of Linux Networking and Security
•Good understanding of fundamental AWS services such as IAM, EC2 and S3/Glacier
