Location: New York, NY 10036 (remote - can be located anywhere in the US as along as the candidate can work according to the EST schedule)
Duration: 18 months
Contract Type: W2 only
Pay Rate: $86.20/Hour
 
Role Mandate:
  • As part of this role, the individual will manage delivery of projects within Capital Market.
  • The Business Analyst will work with potential new internal consumers in defining and
  • documenting requirements.
  • The role requires interaction with multiple stakeholder groups throughout the organization. The ability to communicate effectively and succinctly, both written and oral, is essential to the role.
 
Role Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
  • Plan, manage, lead and oversee the end-to-end delivery of requirements throughout the lifecycle of project in working with potential consumers throughout the enterprise
  • Provide leadership and work collaboratively with stakeholders including business, technology, Data Governance and other team members to support project benefits and changes to business processes, policies and systems across single or multiple Lines of Business (LoB).
  • Analyzing issues Market Data consumers face with the Security master application and/or security data related questions
  • Lead a diverse range of stakeholders; communicates effectively by adapting style and technique to a diverse audience
  • Understand and clarify work packages of each assigned initiative/project inclusive of constraints (time, cost, people resources) and maintain a customer-centric approach
  • Ensures the mechanisms of change management (plans , processes, tools) are in place and effectively executed
  • Ensures project issues and risks are identified, quantified, managed and tracked. Develops strategies to appropriately mitigate risks. Ensures risks, assumptions and constraints are appropriately communicated and escalated when necessary.
  • Monitors and controls the project. Proposes recommendations and adjustments to the overall project manager (or Accountable Executive, as applicable) and publishes periodic project status reports.
  • Under the direction of a more senior Project Manager, directs low to medium complexity projects or provides assistance in managing larger projects.
  • Typically exercises direct accountability for projects with up to 10 team members
  • Provides feedback to people managers on the suitability/performance of project team members assigned to their projects
  • Accountable for defining, planning, orchestrating, and delivering assigned projects and associated deliverables. If managing a sub-project, accountable to the Project/Program manager for assigned activities
  • Manages all aspects of the project lifecycle and works with matrix business, corporate and IT partners to oversee all phases of the project, and to ensure that related project processes are completed as required (including, as applicable, change management, process management, transition to business/operations, system development, quality management, etc.)
  • Manages and/or validates financial forecasts and provides on-going reconciliation of resources and other related project expenditures
  • Defines and tracks project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan
  • Develops project artifacts including charter, integrated plan, resource plan, contingency plan, and related PM artifacts, while complying with applicable enterprise standards(e.g. Risk, Audit, Compliance)
 
Must-Have Skills:
  • Previous Experience with Golden Source is a MUST
  • Experience working with Market Risk and Regulatory related activities
  • Strong knowledge in Capital Markets asset classes including Equity, Fixed Income and Interest rate derivatives
  • Strong understanding of Capital markets and regulatory data
  • Data model experience is an added advantage
  • Should be comfortable working on subjects related to Security Reference data, Legal Entity/Company, Corporate Actions, Pricing Data. Should have knowledge of Data vendors and Master Data management solutions.
